Thanksgiving is almost here, which means the holiday season is officially upon us. The past year seemed to last forever at times, but as we approach the close of 2020, the days are flying right by.
Throughout the past few months, we’ve been busy wood firing, making plenty of pots and sculptures. Creating these works gave those of us in the wood firing community a chance to come together to do what we love most during this uncertain period in time.
We have a myriad of unique pieces ready to go for the holiday season.
Seeing that the demands are quite high for firing our community’s pots, we will be firing our large gas kiln and both our wood kilns in the next two weeks. I am personally on the "Great Mug Challenge, " making 100 new mugs for these firings.

Given the pandemic, shopping for gifts for our loved ones is going to look a lot different this year. More and more people will be avoiding going to stores and will instead be searching for gifts online.
