IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW
FREE BENCH (Practice) TIME:
Students enrolled in classes are encouraged and allowed to use our several classrooms at CCW for bench (practice) time - 7 days per week from 9am-10pm in accordance with the supplied bench time sheets. There are no fees incurred for bench time.
MATERIALS AND FIRING FEES:
Clay: All students will receive a complimentary 25lb bag of clay at their first class. Additional bags of clay will be available for $25/bag. All clay used at CCW must be purchased at CCW. The only exceptions to this are selected workshops.
Firing Fees: All sculpture and wares will be measured before bisque firing. Adult students will incur a firing fee of 3 cents per cubic inch. Glaze, bisque and wood/salt are covered by this fee. These firing options and finishes are predetermined by the curriculum of the class for which the student is enrolled. This rate applies to wares made only during the class period.

INTERMEDIATE WHEEL THROWING
Skill level: Advanced beginners and Intermediates

Times: Thursday Evenings evenings, 7:00 - 9:30pm; Sept 25-Nov 20
Tuition: $295
This class will give developing students an opportunity to focus on further developing their wheel throwing skills.
A variety of forms including plates, platters and compound pieces as well as ginger jars, casseroles, and tea jars will be covered. Students will learn stamping and texturing to achieve decorated surfaces. Exploration in colored slips and CCW's beautiful, new high fire reduction glazes will be included in the detailed instruction. Students will be invited to participate in a CCW wood firing.

WHEEL THROWING FOR BEGINNERS

Students will be instructed on decorating their wares with colored slips. Firing techniques will cover our spectacular high fire (cone 10) functional glazes.

WEEKEND CLAY, THROWING ON THE POTTERS WHEEL
Skill level: Beginners and Advanced Beginners

General Information and Policies:
- Register soon, class sizes are small.
- Tuition may be paid by cash, check, money order, Visa or Master Card. Registration is only considered complete when payment in full has been made. Partial payments and post dated checks are not accepted.
- Classes without minimum enrollment will be canceled. CCW will notify students approximately 4 days prior to start of class. Full refunds are paid when class is
canceled by CCW.
- ALL clay used at CCW must be purchased from CCW.
- In the case of student cancellation requested no later than 14 days prior to the start date of a class, a refund will be issued minus a $50.00 cancellation fee. No refunds or credits will be given after that time.
- Credits & refunds will not be granted for absences due to unexpected events or illness.
- In the case of an individual class cancellation, the instructor will be responsible for the rescheduling of the canceled class. In most cases the class will be rescheduled in the week following the end of the class.
- All students are expected to comply with the CCW guidelines for safety,
maintenance and conduct.
